As some of you may have heard already, Jace sold my house. We have to be out April 18th. A Dr. from Payson and his family will be the lucky new owners. We built this house ourselves (with the help of many) a year and 1/2 ago . I really love this house and living here in Taylor. It has been such a fun house for our kids, animals, and family parties. I love our spot - it is so quiet and private. I will really miss the ward too. I'm trying to convience myself that I'm not attached to the house. If I've learned anything trying to keep up with Jace these past 7 years -its that it really doesn't matter where we're at as long as we are together and my kids feel warm, safe, and secure. Jace has been bugging me for months about selling. I finally said do it, thinking it was going to sit on the market like every other house in AZ. Well, that didn't work out to good for me - 3 weeks later we had a buyer. Another hard lesson we've learned in the past is that it ain't a done deal until the check is in our hands. One minute I'm crying and stressing about moving again and the next I'm trying to remember that the sooner we get to a mortgage free life the more opportunities we will have - Jace has to remind me of this on a daily basis. Jace is so worried about the economy and how it will affect our lives and business here in the White Mountains. So far our phone has not stopped ringing but you never know. It should prove to be an interesting month. Jace had an accident with a zip line and won't be able to put any pressure on his foot for 6 more
weeks. He will be no help moving. His cousin Taft has literally saved our lives. Not only is he keeping our business afloat but he's chopping wood, lighting fires, finishing our house projects before the inspection, carrying kids around, you name it. He was saying the other day how sad it will be when we sell the house. Jace said, "Just another chapter in the Baum's lives." Taft said, "Wow, you guys like short chapters." Yes, Taft, yes we do.

I was reading your blog and Zane was looking @ it and said "hey, it's lindsay baum baum." - Your house is beautiful and I know you will miss it, but I know you and your next spot will be just as beautiful if not more. I think I am with Jace on this one (only cause I am not the one who has to move) but I think working towards no mortgage is the best thing anyone can do:) I will say that for some reason reading your post today makes me want to cry.
I love love your page...your kids pictures are so sweet. You are really good at this kind of stuff and writing. Your post also makes me want to cry today! You always do good where ever you are and your house where ever it be (california, texas, colorado, or Taylor) Will be just as beautiful and full of life. We sure love the Baum Baums!
Lindsay, I want to invite you to my blog. Send me your address. melben30@frontiernet.net
I love the pictures of your kids! Macy is so pretty and looks just like her mom. Your house is amazing but I have a feeling the next one will be too. Just tell yourself you love projects! I cant believe Cash! He has to be the cutest red head I have ever seen.
No way! Here goes a novel...How in the world did Caitlin find my blog? I was so confused because I have a friend here named Caitlin and thought who is Lindsay Baum and how do Caitlin and I know her. So I clicked on your page and was so surprised! I thought maybe Rustin Reidhead(sp?) may have told her because he is the singles ward over here but I don't think he knows we have a blog. But, however she found it...Thank you Caitlin!
I keep forgetting to get addresses from Rustin but he gave me a little update on some people I knew in Show Low. It made me miss it so bad.
I can't believe it has been 7 years since I saw you at your wedding. In that side pic. your little Macy looks so much like I remember you looking when I lived there. So crazy.
Stacy and I got to talking about your family when I was home for Christmas and we were wondering what you guys were up to. You've got to love blogspot!
Sorry to hear about the move. Are you staying in AZ?
ps. tell your mom and dad hi and come visit us in NY.
