The weather was soooo nice too. It was a cruel thing though.....when we pulled into town Sunday night the wind was blowing 80 mph (can you believe the wind was blowing in Taylor?) and we had to light a fire and put children in footed pajamas. I have sent Macy to school this week in capris and a light jacket, so we are making progress. This is the only time of the year that I question why in the world I live here. Then summer comes and all is as it should be. I can't wait for flip flops, popsicles, sprinklers, shorts, vacations, parades, and nights spent outside with my family. So just like everything else in life....this (season) too shall pass.

Noah and Zane....didn't know what to do if other was
absent. One would just basically sit sidelines
until the other showed up at the pool...then the
wrestling match/swimming race could begin.
Best buds.
The goggles weren't purchased until the last day, not
until the whites of this mermaid's eyes were pure red.
No floaties this year! She was one brave swimmer.

I loved this post! I too thought it was very cruel to come home to the wind. But its getting better. I have been in denial since we got home and have been wearing flip flops and summer shirts! I just pretend to be real warm blooded but by the time I get home I put my slippers on. Anyways I loved the valley. We need to go to the point again!
Ah forget the wind!! Wear flip flops anyways!! That's my moto!! The wind will always be here!! So why not be comfortable!!
I found the Baums too! Now I can be in the know...It's so fun to see your sweet little family when ever my little heart wants to! I'm so glad you all are doing spiffy. and i'm already rockin the flip flops but my toes get a bit blue ;)
how fun it makes me even more ready for summer! o your haircutting story was heartbreaking! if it were me i'd probably be sick for a least a month! and i might just now be speaking to timmy, maybe. your hair has always been so pretty! i've always wanted curly hair. and i can't believe how much your macy looks like some of your young pictures!
I always forget how cold that wind can be and just how long it seems to last. But like you said, once that wind is gone and summer is here it is all worth it. I don't think you can find a more beautiful summer anywhere else. it took zane a good day or two to realize that noah was really gone, his heart was trully broken. Eric, the little bully, still can't stop laughing about the snake in the pool. poor noah baum baum.
oh so by the way, sorry I had my profile or blog blocked for a lil while. I was in the middle of messing around with settings when I first set it up. I still dont know what i'm really doing with all this blog stuff. eh, Its fun to just have it even if it doesn't have a great layout or cute pictures everywhere. Maybe I'll get some more pictures when I'm in utah for spring break.
