I am a Jedi. Like my Father before me.

Jace's father dreams of being a farmer. Jace dreams of being a farmer. And believe it or not this dream has caused us (ME) some grief. He failed to mention this dream during courtship, engagement, and the first two years we were married. I believe it should have been stamped on his forehead. Right in the middle. In big, black, bold type.

Here's another little sweetheart that should have been stamped directly below the "I want to be a cowboy" dream:

HE LOVES STARWARS.

HE DREAMS OF BEING A JEDI.

Jace once stood in line at a movie theater, playing beach volleyball with people in full starwars costume for 6 hours so he could watch the first official midnight showing of Star Wars 3. True story. Isn't there a name for these die hard fans? Nerd, perhaps? Let's get real - I would have married the nerd anyway -stamp and all. I just would have been more "prepared".

In turn his offspring dream about being Jedi(s) and princesses in far, far away galaxies, flying spaceships, packing light sabers, and discovering secret family lineage.

Halloween this year was a dream come true:

May the force be with us all (especially their mother).

I asked for their best StarWars pose in this picture. Yoda didn't pay much attention but was happy to be there. Just pretend there's a light saber in Darth's hands. This was Macy's best Padme pose. And don't even think of calling Padme, Princess Laya - that's her daughter for goodness sake! Get it right people!

Hello Yoda could quite possibly have been the cutest thing I have ever seen. I have always loved Yoda even if I never really got into star wars. Anyways it sure was nice to see you baums on Halloween. Now as for Jace, Im sure a stamp would have been nice but it sure is entertaining isnt it?

I love it!! Anything we see that is star wars we think of the Baum Family and place a hand over our hearts for you guys.
When we were out trick or treating we saw a darth vader, a HUGE man darth vader, and Zane was terrified but kept saying, "I can't wait to tell Noah I saw darth vader."
Zane should have a them song for Noah and it would be "You were always on mind." All he thinks about.

They looked so cute! I became a Star Wars Fan (and by fan I mean I watched and enjoyed all the movies) when Hayden Christensen wore that mask. Better late than never right??

Macy told me at church that "Noah is going to be Darth Vader, Ezra is going to be Yoda, and I'm going to be...GUESS!" I said "Princess Laya??" She looked quite discouraged as she told me "NO, Padme!" Sorry, Macy that would have been my next guess...

They looked adorable! I love the whole cordinated costumes thing.
And don't I sure wish there were a few things stamped on Alex's forehead! haha, but I'm sure I still would have married him anyways. And I bet the men think the same thing about us!

oh my goodness thats so cute. You shouldve seen jakes kids. Maybe I'll have to post their picture. They were the Jonas Brothers! haha it was so funny. They had a wagon decorated as a tour bus. My nephews love music and especially jonas brothers. I think it would be safer or more normal to have them love star wars. They are turning into teenages wayyy too early!
